Course Content to be Covered:
Day 1 (Oct 29) - "Extraction Site Management and Implant Placement Strategies" | w/ Henry Salama, DMD
- Understand the most recent research and literature on Extraction Sites
- Know minimally invasive tooth removal techniques and instrumentation
- Learn how to manage the post-extraction sites in order to minimize ridge contour loss
- Understand the concept of Restoration-Driven Tissue Regeneration (RDTR)
- Understand the pros and cons of immediate versus delayed implant placement

Day 2 (Oct 30) - "P.E.T." Partial Extraction Therapies & "SS" Socket Shield - Evidence and Techniques Beyond the Concept | w/ Marcelo Ferrer Balart, DMD, MS
- Understanding the biology behind the concept, and its impact on tissue collapse prevention.
- Being able to adequately select the cases eligible to perform PET and it’s surgical benefits.
- Being able to assess and establish risk on eligible cases.
- Being able to select the cases eligible to perform PET and immediate load.
- How to incorporate PET cases into your digital workflow - provisional & final.
- Managing complications

Day 3 (Oct 31) - "Critical Bone Grafting Techniques: The Role of Bone Enhancement" | w/ Maurice Salama, DMD
- This hands-on course will highlight the 4 most utilized bone graft procedures in clinical practice which involve the socket graft and 3 different ridge augmentation techniques.
- It will teach in detail and simplify the process of site evaluation, critical anatomy, flap design, harvest techniques, suturing and the required armamentarium to perform these techniques.
- This program will cover site preparation techniques prior to and at the time of implant placement.

Day 4 (Nov 1) - "Critical Soft Tissue Techniques in Esthetic & Implant Dentistry" | w/ Maurice Salama, DMD & Sherif Yousri Said, BDS
- To learn basic surgical anatomy and incision techniques in soft tissue surgery
- To apply three commonly used soft tissue grafting techniques in clinical practice
- To learn modified suturing methods to secure flaps and grafts

Day 5 (Nov 2) - "Sinus Augmentation & Ridge Expansion – State of the Art" | w/ Udatta Kher, BDS, MDS
- Diagnosis and treatment plan the rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla
- Evaluate the surgical approaches and techniques for sinus lifts and ridge expansion
- Comprehend different grafting materials for guided bone regeneration
- Comprehend the use of advanced surgical instrumentation such as Piezosurgery and Crestal/Lateral Sinus Drill kits for sinus access.
- Step-by-step techniques to overcome these challenges utilizing piezoelectric therapy for ridge expansion
- Armamentarium needed to perform these procedures, surgical kits for bone and sinus as well as expansion drills
- Learn how to utilize autologous growth factors

Day 6 (Nov 3) - "Full Arch Implant Rehabilitation: Diagnostic, Surgical and Digital Prosthetic Rationale" | w/ Maurice Salama, DMD & Marko Tadros, DMD
