Summary:

Dental erosion is a global health problem that can lead to significant functional and esthetic impairments of the affected patients. Treatment of sever cases with augmented loss of the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) represents a challenge for both the dental team and the patient. CAD/CAM technology was used in the presented case to analyze the inter-occlusal space. Based on a virtual wax-up of the final restorations, CAD/CAM-fabricated preparation splints served as a guide and endured a most minimally invasive preparation design. Milled polymer provisional enabled the patient to visualize the final treatment outcome and served as a fracture-resistant temporary restoration to test the increased VDO. Monolithic lithium-disilicate ceramic, defect-oriented restorations with reduced ceramic thickness enabled a functional and reliable reconstruction of the severely compromised dentition. The case report documents a practical, digital approach and discusses the advantages related to treatment time, ease of treatment, and predictability.

Reconstruction of Tooth Form in Various Anatomical Tooth Combinations
The present article describes the variations in form of anterior teeth, which are important in achieving an aesthetic result. Each tooth is shaped according to the task it must perform and that will enable it to blend harmoniously into the oral cavity. The shape of the anterior teeth are very important from the aesthetic point of view, is dealt with from the standpoint of the dental technician. The numerous possibilities for anatomical tooth reproduction, in order to achieve the most suitable form for each particular case, are highlighted.

Laser-Assisted Flapless Crown Lengthening: A Case Series
In medicine, and to a lesser extent in dentistry, evolving technologies have served to expand the indications for minimally invasive procedures. In dentistry, lasers, although currently less integral to advances in minimally invasive procedures, are nevertheless evolving as potentially effective adjunctive tools within the therapeutic arena.

The Proof is in the Laboratory; A Maxillary Full Arch Implant Supported Zirconia Prettau Comparison
The FP-3 “Implant Supported Hybrid" has proven to be an exceptional and highly specialized treatment option for patients with non restorable teeth or existing edentulism. The use of zirconia provides the ultimate outcome bringing with it a new standard of esthetics, function and, when done well, a long lasting prosthesis. This presentation will stress the importance of treatment planning, CAD CAM technology, and the all important need for the laboratory technician’s human touch. Surgical aspects, provisonalization during healing, and management of soft tissue are important components. The protocol for final fabrication of the FP-3 all zirconia prosthesis is detailed along with a description of this exciting new technology.
