Course Description:

Treatment planning a full mouth rehabilitation is amazingly challenging. So many options and steps must be coordinated and controlled to achieve a successful outcome. Developing the Smile Design is just the starting point. Carefully integrating this design to function is the key. This presentation will show how this process is a complex brainstorm that needs to be guided by logical and rational steps to achieve consistent and predictable solutions.

  • Creating and effective, complete and attractive interdisciplinary treatment plan and presenting it to the patient.
  • Understand the importance of facial analysis, the key for ideal smile design.
  • Interdisciplinary communication tools.
  • Easy and effective digital photography protocol for smile design and tx planning.
  • The role of Mock-ups and Wax-ups to improve the Smile Design process.
  • Improving the Dentist/Patient communication.
  • Digital tools to improve the Dentist/Technician communication.
  • The digital Smile Design Concept (DSD).
  • Integrating the 2D drawings from DSD to 3D softwares as CAD/CAM, Ortho, Guided surgery and Orthognatic.
