Esthetic Rehabilitation for Severe Worn Dentition
This presentation covers the importance of differential analysis of the worn dentition, treatment plan and treatment sequence of the esthetic rehabilitation in severely worn dentition patients. Speakers will also explain how to harmonize the smile design of anterior restorations with the functional occlusion of posterior restorations, including the relation of temporomandibular component and the anterior guidance design with all-ceramic restorations as the material of choice.
Predictable Implant Aesthetics Utilizing A Custom Fabricated Provisional Abutment & Impression Coping
Mastering the art of predictable implant aesthetics can be challenging. One of the most stressful areas for most dentists is the process of creating a beautiful provisional that will guide tissue and predictably communicate the aesthetic outcome for the final restoration in the aesthetic zone. Combining the use of a custom fabricated provisional abutment, provisional restoration and a custom fabricated impression coping many of the aesthetics challenges can be addressed. This information can then be communicated to the laboratory to ensure the most predictable aesthetic outcome possible. This program is designed to simplify and streamline the entire process of implant provisionalization and impression. This program will provide a systematic, step by step approach to tissue management, provisionalization and impression of implant cases.
The 10 Year Evolution of Guided Surgery, What We Have Learned From our First Patients
The initial NobelGuide protocol was developed and completed in 2003 for the first series of treated North American edentulous patients. The 10-year clinical results from this initial patient group treated with implant placement and immediate loading via a fixed prosthesis, now provides insights into what have we learned from the evolution of guided implant treatments to ensure and improve surgical and prosthodontic treatment outcomes.
CBCT-Guided Implantology- Improving the Accuracy and Success of Tooth Replacement
The integration of cone beam technology and 3D imaging has advanced the practice of digital dentistry. CT-guided implant planning combined with the use of a Computer Guided Surgery (CGS) implant placement kit leads to increased precision, accuracy and efficiency of implant placement. To realize the full advantages of CT guided surgery, it is important to have a thorough understanding of software and workflow, as well as the specific components of the Guided Surgery kit and their use. This session will demonstrate how the merging of implant planning software, CAD/CAM technology and CGS is enabling surgeons and restorative dentists to leverage the benefits of digital dentistry
Implant Solutions for the Edentulous Patient: Using Digital Technology from Diagnosis to Delivery
This program will focus on new modalities for the treatment planning of edentulous patients. Advancements in technology such as CBCT, planning software, surgical guides and CAD/CAM allow dentists to develop in a virtual environment, restoratively driven, predictable outcomes for patients.
