Experts,

Have experienced great difficulty in instrument removal from apical third of the root canal...
Especially have worked with rotary files which have incurred in some breakage of instruments.

But if left inside the results are not that bad.... please give your expert opinion....
or some techniques to remove the instrument..

NOTE... i follow a strict instrument check prior to use.. and the thumb rule never to keep the file in the canal for more than 3-4 secs...
but then also 1 or 2 times i have incurred in instrument breakage...

it is very difficult to retrieve broken instrument from canal.d'oh!
u need to have endodontic microscopes for this purpose.Boo hoo!
but u should check the force u are applying in canal when u are working.
if u are using basic rules of checking instruments and keeping instruments for short time in canal then only one reason is remainig: double check ur technique.
may be the force is more which is creating stress in instruments and ultimately instrument breakage.
i hope this will help u.
