Just curiuous to see what others are using to prep teeth for crowns (all types). I would love to simplify my technique while making the outcome more predictable.
Is everyone using cord, Expasil, lasers, electrosurge, or nothing when taking final impresssions?

Russell...I still use Ultradent's retraction cord with great success for the past 15 years and enhance the site if there is really excess tissue with electrosurg. I believe my video on Crown Preparation covers the current technique that has been so successful for me for the past 45 years and I encourage you to view it on Dentalxp.
