Good work Yvan. Have you ever experienced any Dysesthesia / Paresthesia in the symphysis after block harvest?? & how would you avoid it apart from leaving a safe distance from the incisor root tips.

Dysesthesia is common following this harvest technique but returns after several months time.
The Pikos rule of 5 is best to stay away from the mental foramen, border of the chin base and the apical roots of the lower incisors by a minimum of 5mm.
Other than this there is no way to avoid these post-op complications with chin harvest.
