Regenerative Dental and Facial Rejuvenation: The Essential Role of Growth Factors
The potential of plasma rich in growth factors is well-documented in different medical fields to improve tissue regeneration and to minimize pain, inflammation and morbidity resulted from a surgical intervention. In this presentation we will discuss the potential of this endogenous therapy in the treatment of post-extraction socket and in the field of facial rejuvenation of the peri-oral region.

Total Rehabilitation of the Edentulous Patient with the All-on-4® treatment concept
A fixed implant supported prosthesis is the ideal treatment option for the edentulous patient and those facing the imminent loss of their remaining dentition. Through innovation, along with continuous clinical and scientific research, it has become possible to treat virtually every edentulous case with a highly functional and esthetic fixed solution. The oral rehabilitation of these patients has two stages: surgical and prosthetic. The surgical protocol follows the All-on-4® treatment concept - an innovative technique developed in the early 90’s at the MALO CLINIC that allows for immediate function, full-arch, implant supported prosthetics.

Managing Risk and Complications in Anterior Mandible Implant Therapy
In this presentation, Dr. Imad Salloum describes the risks and complications that may arise in placing implants in the anterior mandible.
General anatomy and associated risks are discussed along with the management of possible complications associated with surgery in this area. The emphasis of this presentation is that only through proper planning and understanding of relevant anatomy can implant placement in the anterior mandible be made to be safe and predictable.

Zygomatic Implants in the Treatment of Fully Edentulous Patients
This presentation aims to bring some possibilities in the treatment of edentulous patients with a severe atrophic maxilla. The major problem is that the absence of an appropriate bone bed, will compromise any approach with bone grafts and substitutes, as well as involving a greater morbidity and treatment time. In this way the oral rehabilitation with zygomatic implants is a current need for many patients, which will require a scientific knowledge of the dental care professional. Through this slide show and video demonstration you will be able to recognize and diagnose cases recommended for the therapy with zygomatic implants and its possible configurations supporting an oral rehabilitation.

Digital Dentistry in the Management of Simple and Complex Cases: The Digital Intra-Scanner
The advent of new technologies has enabled the utilization of new materials and equipment that facilitate the production of restorations with an accuracy that has, up to now, been difficult to obtain reliably. This lecture utilizes patient presentations to help analyze and highlight new systematic clinical protocols that have been developed to optimize the evolving knowledge in digital dentistry and materials.
These protocols have allowed us to modify work flow and operational techniques to shorten lead times, while maintaining optimal accuracy. Advantages and disadvantages of the methods outlined will be evaluated and analyzed on the basis of existing literature and personal experience.

Prosthetic Strategies to Enhance Dental Implant Aesthetics
The principle focus of implant dentistry has changed significantly from the era of ‘Anatomically driven implant placement’ to the current practice of ‘Restoration driven implant placement’. When we now look at the failing dentition in the aesthetic zone we now must immediately consider conversion to implants. We are continually seeking greater control of the peri-implant tissues and ultimately the aesthetics of the restoration. Implant/abutment designs allow us to consider immediate implant replacement, and immediate non-functional loading especially in the aesthetic zone, where preservation of hard and soft tissue is of paramount importance in order follow the principles of aesthetics by maintaining the elements which are already there

Socket-Shield Technique in Immediate Implant Placement
This presentation demonstrates the use of a new approach to extraction and immediate implant placement. The Socket-Shield Technique aims to extract a tooth while maintaining the labial root segment in place. This requires a technically sensitive approach due to the need to precisely cut/drill the unwanted major portion of the tooth without disturbing the relationship of the labial segment with the labial plate of bone. The technique and supporting literature are discussed and demonstrated.

Implant Esthetics: Recognizing Pitfalls and How to Avoid Problems
In this Webinar on Implant Esthetics, Dr Stanley describes the "No Half Smiles" philosophy that he practices. An emphasis is placed on both the clinical and technical requirements necessary for delivering consistent successful esthetic results in everyday practice. In addition, several techniques are demonstrated to make patient management through this process more efficient. As Dr. Stanley states" the challenges of getting it right are many but avoiding complications is vital to the success of our daily practice.

Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration
The IDR (Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration) technique has been used for over 6 years. With it, we can reconstruct socket tissue losses in the same surgical session of dental extraction, implant placement and provisional crown installation, minimizing the treatment time and morbidity of the procedures.
In this presentation we discuss the hard and soft tissues stability when the IDR technique is applied in different types of periodontal biotypes and in sites with different defect levels.
The clinical, radiographic and tomographic follow-up of some cases is shown, allowing us to evaluate the maintenance of gingival architecture and peri-implant bone stability around the implants.

Optimizing Tissue Esthetics of Single Tooth Implants
The most critical factor in achieving exquisite esthetics around single tooth anterior implants is management of the gingival tissues. Beginning with treatment planning and evaluating the existing tissue and bony architecture we can set the stage for success. With optimized planning, precise placement of the fixture, and the use of laser technology to reduce tissue trauma we can minimize the bone and tissue changes during the surgical phase.

Immediate Molar Replacement Utilizing Narrow Diameter Implants - Allowing Implant Placement in Almost Any Situation - Part 1 of 2
