This requires bone development of the edentulous ridge or potential implant restorative site. I am reminded, that with so many approaches, materials, and tools available in regenerative surgery, how important are detailed diagnostics and a thorough understanding of the biology of healing with each one. Alper and Keith; Thanks for the response. You must use ACS Collagen Sponges as carrier for BMP-2 but can mix some mineross with it. As for Sonic Weld system, I have used and continue to use the system but would not have utilized as a substitute for ortho extrusion in the vertical defect case. Dr. Salama
