Dear Dr.Salama
Thank you for your comment,I agree one hundred present with your second treatment suggestion,however I did not see any improvement in the amount of over-eruption and pt still show 8-9 mm at rest ,orthodontic treatment would have helped to intrude anterior teeth,and expand upper arch ,even if there is no over jet I still believe it would serve her better without cutting her teeth.I would like to hear from you if intrusion and upper maxillary expansion and correction of the central line would be the wrong treatment.

Unsure about your suggestion. It appears that she displayed minimal overbite on her pre-op images and that the incisal edge positions were in harmony with her lower lip. As an orthodontist and periodontist, I often try to treat these cases with conservative treatment like ortho intrusion of the Maxillary incisors followed by some minor GV but I don't think that this case would have been best treated in that manner due to the above.
But, I love the discussion and appreciate the post.

This is the wrong treatment for that case,you are aware that the problem is dento alveolar over growth,should have been treated conservatively with orthodontic treatment,rather the very aggressive crown lengthening followed by more destruction placing veneers on a beautiful dentition.
