Also there is an article on dental XP , going through step by step how we actually do the workflow. The pictures tell the story. Hope this helps!! BTW 2 awesome scanners coming out in 3 months... keep you posted..it's the way of the future!

Dr Sam and Dr George,
Yes i agree more time on each concept has to be discussed, I am giving a 20 minute presentation at the AO, hopefully you can make that.
In addition the regular format for these concepts is really 3-4 hours.
So again my intention was an introduction to these concepts and how it's been working for our patients, doctors, and students .
I will try to put each of these concepts on a longer video, thanks for your comments,
DR George
Question 1 - Yes that is the correct sequence of fabricating the correct angle.
Question 2- Yes scanned after being in the mouth for about 30 minutes sometimes I wait a week if there is something not just right.
QUESTION 3 - Temp abutment and Temp crown is made on all restorations in the anterior region usually about 4 weeks waiting time before placing the final abutment.
Final abutment gets placed, 60% of the time the cad/cam crown is made that day.
sometimes the tissue is just a tad off.. then I wait to make the final Cad/cam crown.
KEY to this = when the final cad/cam abutment is placed. IT IS NEVER REMOVED
unless screw loosening.

Thank you, Dr Mario for your comments, I tried to get the concepts that i was using, maybe the editing was too fast I agree, but I hope you can appreciate the vision of how the future of what we do is changing.
Dr Sattar, I am not promoting anything except the future of our profession. I use our institute to teach and demonstrate procedures. I hope you can see the value of the education in this growing field and the lack of basic education for our colleagues that is necessary

Dr. Dean; Nice material and so important. Can you provide more detail in a longer presentation? This is the future of dentistry and requires more intense description.
thanks Sam

Dr Vafiadis, the speed of your presentation compromises the ability of the listener to understand the concepts that you are wishing to convey. Perhaps you may consider a Part 2 presentation, whereby the subject matter is explained in more significant detail. Thank You!

Restorative Space Management: Treatment Planning & Clinical Considerations for Insufficient Space
In attempting to provide a restorative solution for cases that have been compromised by spatial considerations, clinicians have traditionally opted for an orthodontic approach that did not provide optimal aesthetics due to changes in tooth morphology, specifically tooth size and shape as a result of dental deterioration. With the advent of contemporary aesthetic materials and preparation techniques, clinicians and technicians are now empowered to deliver a penultimate result with minimal compromise to the surrounding dentition. This article presents the clinical and laboratory considerations that must be addressed when providing a prosthetic restoration for crowded teeth.
