Partners in Synergy - The Webinar Event; Augmentation Strategies in Implant Dentistry
This course will highlight the current available regenerative techniques and protocols to maximize the esthetic results of tooth replacement therapy. Extraction site management, labial bone enhancement as well as current gingival augmentation techniques will be featured. These highly acclaimed clinicians and educators will team up to provide a glimpse of their upcoming LIVE Synergy VI conference June 11th - 14th, 2015 in Orlando, Florida.
Horizontal Augmentation Through the Ridge-Split Procedure: A Predictable Surgical Modality in Implant Reconstruction
The need for an adequate alveolar ridge width has been a long-standing principle in pre-prosthetic surgery. Since the introduction of root-form endosseous dental implants, the necessity of proper alveolar ridge width has become essential. Many surgical pre-implant bone augmentation techniques with the goal of reconstructing deficient alveolar width, height, or both have been proposed. A variety of alveolar ridge augmentation techniques for treatment of 2-D and 3-D bone deficiencies have been described and include guided bone regeneration (GBR) with a cancellous graft, onlay/veneer block graft, inlay grafting, ridge-split, vertical and horizontal distraction osteogenesis, and others.
Effective Restorative Dentistry Using CO2 Hard Tissue Laser
The CO2 9.3um hard tissue laser has made restorative dentistry more acceptable to patients mainly due to the lack of local anesthesia required for most all restorations. Procedures will be shown on both virgin teeth as well as replacement of previous restorations. What has been most impressive is how the cutting speed can be varied in both enamel and dentin. Also the efficiency as well as the simplicity of operation will be included. Finally, you will see patient responses after the procedures showing the effectiveness of the laser in anesthetizing the teeth being treated.
The Roll Technique in Soft Tissue Augmentation with Implants
In this surgical video, a modified roll technique is utilized for labial augmentation of an anterior implant at the time of uncovering. Incision design, de-epithelialization, tunnel flap on labial and suturing is described. Post-op results are included.
Simultaneous and Integrated Surgical and Restorative Protocols in Immediate Anterior Implant Therapy
This presentation outlines in detail the biological, surgical and restorative processes that must be understood and integrated optimally in immediate anterior implant therapy in order to achieve efficient, predictable and esthetic outcomes. In addition, immediate loading of single and full arch cases as well as computer guided surgery will be elucidated upon.
