In this surgical video, Dr. Paul Petrungaro demonstrates the utilization of Acellular Dermal Matrix in the treatment of gingival labial recession of lower central incisors. Incision design and flap management, including concurrent frenectomy are shown and discussed in detail. In addition, root conditioning, dermis matrix stabilization and suturing are also demonstrated.

Observing the two months Post-op photo, the top of the frenum is still enjoying the same position, touching an horizontal line connecting the gingival levels/margins on #24,25
Comments:
Frenectomy by itself in the first phase, could have created an excellent AESTHETICS and the procedure would have allowed to place the frenum in a better, desired position.
I would imagin that further(more) relieving of frenum was restricted in this combined procedure because of a possibility of severing/hindering of blood supply to the graft-site.
I still see a compromise(good or bad)in the final result, that there is a healthy, robust "scar tissue" hopefully attached to the periosteum.
Comment:
Disecting the attachment using surgical blade(not the laser), from periosteum to the full depth of the vestibule and suturing the entire cut ends of labial aspects of "frenum incision" may have eliminated this undesirable scarring.

Great video and technique Dr Petrungaro. Don't you consider that by cutting more muscle fibers of the frenum you would have avoided a reattachment of it?
Did you ever consider to tunneling it?
Great idea the using of PRP.
