In part 1 of this series, Dr. Aldo Leopardi, a prosthodontist, outlines in great detail the necessary techniques required for successful full denture prosthodontics starting with the initial patient consultation. Preliminary impressions, custom trays, border molding and final impressions are also delineated. In addition, detailed laboratory steps, including tooth set-up on an articulator are described by both Dr. Leopardi and Charles McClemens, CDT.

Thank U. I listen again of this talk. It is valuable because it give us a chance to revise the alignment of anterior teeth. Everyone can align the teeth but how to make it more perfect. Thanks Dr Leopardi for sharing his ideas to us in this part one.

I liked this series. I think it's important for members to review all the parts of a video series before making their comments or suggestions. This was very helpful to me and my practice whether we use implants as anchors or not. Sam Busich

Fabricating dentures is a lost art. Few dental schools are able to educate and provide adequate clinical experiences for students. Though this video is sophmoric it may be useful for the less experienced practitioner. The incisal table is useful.
