A good demonstration but repeat some at the last of the episode. However, it cannot affect the whole of the live demonstraton.

Eddie- Ok. I believe dentures isn't as straight forward as the case presented on the video. Many of the details were simply skipped. Or, did I just miss things? For instance, what type of occlusion did he utilize? I was assuming lingualized. What kind of teeth were selected- yes, I heard some brand name, but are they plastic, porcelain, occlusal design? I would have appreciated hearing his beliefs behind choosing these teeth. I appreciated his comments on anterior occlusion, and implants. Although I disagree with a lower bar. I think the cost breakdown (at least in my area) puts a bar too close in cost to a lower hybrid. This allows me to quickly divide the options into two lower implants vs lower hybrid. I agree, posting cases would be a great way to discuss things in more detail.

I believe a better description of the videos would have eliminated my complaints. Meaning, the content wasn't horrible, it was just a cliff notes to a bigger story. It sounds like the presenter will be offering a more complete guide to dentures at his institute in Colorado. In addition, the articulator is more of an interesting concept for anyone having their own lab. I have a fixed lab, and attempting to add removables. This articulator would certainly help a learning technician. I posted that the articulator wasn't a new concept. That was some what of a premature comment, as I was referring to the outlined anterior table highlighted at the end of one of the videos. Curtis

The gig system of the articulator for posterior setups might work well if combined with a neutral zone impression.

There are simply too many complaints to list them. Don't watch it. Funny thing is, I signed up on this website for these denture vids.

Is it not a an ESTABLISHED FACT that processing complete dentures almost always has "possibility" for migration of teeth called "processing errors"? which needs to be, or which can easily be eliminated by remounting and spot grinding, or at least "verified no processing errors" before digging the processed dentures out of the models ?
What ever happened to the "Physio-mechanical requirement" or the need for positioning the buccal cusps of lower posterior teeth vertically over the crest of the ridge (for functional effeciency). If it (positioning correctly) was followed, it is neither being mentioned in the narration nor it is evident in the video.
We do not ask the patient for acceptance of COLOR and arrangement when it (denture set up) is ready for processing...it would be best to have patient's approval at anterior try-in stage, and then for a final approval before processing.
What ever happend to face bow transfer and desired and required orientation of occlusal plane on to the articulator?

Introducing Choukroun’s Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) to the Reconstructive Surgery Milieu
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), developed in France by Choukroun et al (2001), is a second generation platelet concentrate widely used to accelerate soft and hard tissue healing. Its advantages over the better known platelet-rich plasma (PRP) include ease of preparation/application, minimal expense, and lack of biochemical modification (no bovine thrombin or anticoagulant is required). PRF is a strictly autologous fibrin matrix containing a large quantity of platelet and leukocyte cytokines. This article serves as an introduction to the PRF “concept” and its potential clinical applications.
