Description:
This presentation will cover detailed concepts of diagnosis and treatment planning using state-of-the-art 3-D imaging modalities for the purpose of customizing therapy based on individual implant receptor sites. In addition, specific suggestions on incorporating new and innovative design features into your treatment design to achieve higher degrees of esthetic success as well as ease of use in the surgical or prosthetic phase will be discussed. These will include new surface treatments such as the implant micro-geometry, Laser-Lok microchannels, narrow diameter implants, as well as when to use straight vs. tapered implant designs.

hi Dr.Ganz, thank you for very professional presentation.you show the connective tissue adherence to the micro-lock surface, although Dr.Tarnow states that bone "likes" rough surface, while soft tissue likes smooth, polished one.Your comments, please. thank you, Alex.

I really enjoyed the visual aspects of the presentation by Dr. Ganz. Often, in cases with severe swings in Bone density I find the 3D images less accurate? Is this due to the "tolerances" set in the software. You did not seem to have this problem. thanks Sam
