HI Fatima.
the hand piece that is used to harvest the bone is usually a contraangle 1:1 with external water and a trephine bur no smaller than 5mm internal diameter. the beter way to harvest the bone is the piezo bone cutters. Check out the new lecture on Dental Xp about the harvesting of bone from the palate it will describe the technique for you.
