Thnk you dear Dr Gerard for good and skill presentation....

Dr Lemongello , may I get the subtitle of the video presentation about the techniques of managing Prosthetic Components for Predictable Implant Aesthetics?

Gerard Lemongello - (3/12/2013 3:55 PM)

Thank you for the kind words. My goal was to provide information in a step by step manor to help illustrate successful techniques. I am happy you enjoyed the presentation.

Dr. Lemongello, this by far has been the best 4 part presentation topic that i have come across in Dental Xp. by showing how it is actually done rather than just talking about it really improves understanding of the topic. although i am a guy and am straight in all respects, i have just fallen in love with you. A really heart felt Thank you, & a suggestion for the developers of dental Xp (Who have a done a brilliant job with this web site)would be to encourage their prominent speakers to have videos just like yours for the sake of our better understanding.

Felicitaciones, trabajo de gran ayuda para el momento quirurgico.

kavita patel - (5/26/2012 3:27 PM)

Hello Dr. Lemongello, i sincerely want to express my hearfelt gratitude for posting these series of 4 presentations. no kidding but i have seen them all at least 4/5 times to truly digest the content and techniques. i actually fabricated my 1st provisional (that will help sculpt and support the soft tissue for beautiful esthetics) on implant # 8 area earlier this morning at the Oral Surgeon's office after traditional healing time (as i have to yet invest in a soft tissue laser). It came out stunning and everyone at the oral surgeon's office and the OS himself were floored by methodical approach to this process...thanks to you i have attended countless lectures on anterior esthetics that show these similar results but none that taught steps in a systematic process...WOW! i am still on cloud nine once again thank you for your dedicated effort and detailed programmed teaching presentation and have a wonderful holiday weekend kavita patel, DDS

very nice presentation. use of video and step by step procedure photographs have left very little to imagine. thanks a lot

Great topic , something that I teach all my Dr's to do and to understand how important it is to get this information to the lab technician. I do have a recommendation and that is to use a transparent material when doing the indirect technique, use a material like the Memosil 2 from Heraeus when filling in around the impression coping. It will make it easier to like cure. Lars Hansson CDT , FICOI

Preventing Subgingival Margins by Implementing Supra-gingival Dentistry Protocol
Restorative margins ending subgingival are considered “normal” and out of the control of the restorative dentist, but in reality subgingival margins are mostly avoidable and preventable! We have the technique and materials to be able to consider all of the above part of the history of dentistry.

Innovative Sequencing for Interdisciplinary Aesthetic Treatment
Smile enhancement therapy has become an important facet of the everyday aesthetic practice. Aesthetic evaluation utilizing facial aesthetic design to diagnose tooth position demands effective communication between the periodontal-restorative team. This presentation will review innovative sequencing techniques for interdisciplinary cases which require aesthetic crown lengthening for the treatment of excessive gingival display, and for gingival augmentation for root coverage, and the correction of poor gingival quality. Immediate implant placement with immediate non–loaded provisional fabrication will also be reviewed.

Smile Design and The Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototype (BFEP)
The lecture will cover some simple Photoshop techniques to enhance a smile digitally to present to the patient and motivate them to accept treatment. This lecture will mainly focus on the the step-by-step process of how to turn the 2-dimensional Photoshop smile design into a 3D Bonded Functional Esthetic Prototypes (BFEP’s) the patient wears to verify esthetic and functional acceptance. A very efficient technique using a new highly flowable but highly filled micro-hybrid that uses an injection molding tray technique will be demonstrated. A full arch composite bonding can be done in one hour with this technique. This BFEP technique can be used for “trial smiles” for pre-treatment esthetic and functional evaluation by the patient and the treatment team. It can also be used for long-term functional temporization for years if necessary. The BFEP will then be used as the final guide for preparations for Anterior Etched Ceramic restorations (porcelain veneers and glass ceramics.
