Monolithic Solid Zirconia Full Arch Restorations Today

Description:
The "All Zirconia Implant Supported Hybrid" has proven to be an exceptional and highly specialized treatment option for patients with non restorable teeth or patients who are edentulous. The ultimate outcome using zirconium provides a new standard of esthetic excellence as well as a longer lasting prosthesis when compared to the conventional acrylic hybrid. The importance of treatment planning, patient selection, and a formula for case presentation leading to higher patient acceptance will be stressed. As well as a discussion of the surgical aspects, provisonalization during healing, and management of soft tissue. The final fabrication of the all zirconia hybrid is complex and encompasses an exciting new “All in ONE” technology. With technology quickly taking over the dental market, your patients should feel as if technology is an enhancement — not a replacement — of a dental professional’s personal service. The “personal touch” remains an important element of patient satisfaction and retention.

Minimally Invasive Approaches in Tooth Preparation and Prosthetics: The Role of Magnification
New technologies in adhesive, ceramic and digital dentistry are constantly shifting the restorative landscape. When it comes to utilizing these new technologies to develop excellence in restorative dentistry, optimizing the visual field is critical. This is true whether a clinician is looking at diagnostic analysis, tooth preparation, provisional fabrication, impression taking or evaluating the final restoration for cementation. This presentation will demonstrate the advantages of utilizing microscopes, both in macro and micro modes, for enhancing restorative dentistry as well as full-mouth rehabilitations. Optimizing the visual field is critical.

Modern Occlusal Concepts in Esthetic & Implant Dentistry

Modern Occlusal Concepts in Esthetic & Implant Dentistry
Occlusion is probably not one of the most popular topics in dental meetings and conferences nowadays especially if compared to implants and esthetics. Indeed it was considered in dentistry much more important just a few years ago than it is now. There is growing distance between the evolution of scientific research in the field, including available recent literature and several popular clinical approaches. It seems even difficult to have universal definitions related to this topic: the term “occlusion” itself is often associated with different adjectives to define it and many other terms are used with quite often differences in meaning, each of us gives a different meaning to the same terms, according to differences in treatment philosophies or in different specialties.

Guided Preparations and the Future of Minimally Invasive Dentistry
An introduction to describe the use of digitally designed, 3D-printed guides to prepare teeth. This state of the arts technology allows dentists to efficiently prepare teeth and deliver the final restoration in one visit. The objective of this presentation is to provide the audience an introduction to with the advancement of 3D-printing in dentistry and it’s use as it pertains to restorative options. With computer aided procedures we can now digitally design and prepare 3D-printed guides to precisely prepare teeth and deliver the final restoration without the need for a temporary.

Prosthetic Gingival Reconstruction in a Fixed Partial Restoration - Part 1: Introduction to Artificial Gingiva as an Alternative Therapy
The Class III defect environment entails a vertical and horizontal deficiency in the endentulous ridge. Often, bone and soft tissue surgical procedures fall short of achieving a natural esthetic result. Alternative surgical and restorative protocols for these types of prosthetic gingival restorations are presented in this three-part series, which highlights the diagnostic and treatment aspects as well as the lab and maintenance challenges involved.

CAD/CAM Anterior Esthetic Implant Restorations: The BellaTek Encode Healing Abutment and CAD-Block Ceramics
Digital design software programs for teeth and implant restorations have evolved over the past 5 years. Using CBCT scans and digital preoperative scans, the clinician can properly plan the placement of implant fixtures. Various software programs and intraoral scanners offer analysis of proper implant position, angle of implant placement, and depth of tissue and occlusal clearance. The utilization of coded healing abutments (BellaTek®, Encode®, Biomet 3i) may also add to the precision of design and calibration of all tissue contacting points of the emerging abutment. This article will introduce and describe a current model for fabrication of ideal abutments, and fabrication of CAD/ CAM restorations for the anterior esthetic zone.
