Surgical Veneer Grafting: Utilization in Immediate Implant Placement
The management of the digital implant prosthetic dentistry, especially in the anterior esthetic area, is one of the hottest topics in Dentistry. The diagnostic phase is critical. In the course, are discussed all the parameters to achieve the correct diagnosis of the socket and the various treatment plan correlated to each anatomical type of socket. The Dual Zone approach (bone zone and tissue zone) will be evaluated and discussed in detail, regarding each of their variables.

A Review of Clinical Applications for Soft Tissue Allografts & Autografts: Solutions for Teeth, Implants, and Dentures
The presentation focuses on the clinical applications for acellular dermal graft (ADG) materials. ADGs have been commonly presented and discussed to provide solutions for treating gingival recession. Compared to autogenous grafts, they have the advantage of minimizing pain, discomfort, and surgery time for patients by avoiding an intraoral donor site such as the palate.

The “Semilunar” Graft Technique in Periodontal Plastic Surgery: Revision and Retreatment of Anterior Recession Defects. Premium Member Content

The “Semilunar” Graft Technique in Periodontal Plastic Surgery: Revision and Retreatment of Anterior Recession Defects.
In this lecture and video based Case Report, a patient with multiple recession defects in the Maxillary Anterior Region who was first treated with Tunnel Approach and ACDM grafts reveals breakdown of the result at 3 years in the area of the Maxillary Left Central Incisor with further recession and erosion of the root. The Semi-Lunar Approach is highlighted as a minimally invasive microsurgical approach to this situation. Incision design, instrumentation and suturing are highlighted. Post-op results are displayed.

Is There One or More Reasons to Optimize the PRF & PRP Protocols? Future Trends in Dentistry, Orthopedics and Facial Aesthetics
The “Advanced” PRF (A-PRF) and “Injectable” PRF (I-PRF) protocols were designed with this new concept. Indications are numerous in all medical fields where we need regeneration: bone, cartilage, skin etc... However, the use of growth factors is not a guarantee of long term stability, as they are active only at the beginning of the process. Numerous rules of tissue engineering have to be applied to maintain the regenerated bone through an adequate blood supply: this lecture is an enlightenment on the biological and mechanical conditions for long term stability of the bone: “grafted bone” or “bone around implants”.

Crown Lengthening in Comprehensive Esthetic Therapy: The Complete Surgical Video A to Z
In this complete surgical video, Dr. David Wong performs an esthetic crown lengthening procedure to address a "gummy smile" as part of comprehensive therapy and smile enhancement. Dr. Wong will outline the indications for crown lengthening surgery as opposed to orthognathic correction. The surgical video will demonstrate the complete crown lengthening surgery, including incision design, flap management and instrumentation. In addition, suturing and post-operative care will also be outlined in detail.

Mucosal Coronally Positioned Flap for the Management of Excessive Gingival Display in the Presence of Hypermobility of the Upper Lip and Vertical Maxillary Excess: A Case Report
Excessive gingival display is a frequent finding that can occur because of various intraoral or extraoral etiologies. This report describes the use of a mucosal coronally positioned flap for the management of a gummy smile associated with vertical maxillary excess and hypermobility of the upper lip. For patients desiring a less invasive alternative to orthognathic surgery, the mucosal coronally positioned flap is a viable alternative. We demonstrate short-term successful use of this technique for the management of excessive gingival display in the presence of slight vertical maxillary excess and hypermobility of the upper lip. Long-term follow-up studies are needed to determine stability of the results.

The Management of Recession Midfacial to Immediately Placed Implants in the Aesthetic Zone

The Management of Recession Midfacial to Immediately Placed Implants in the Aesthetic Zone
Immediate placement and loading protocols are the most technique sensitive and at the highest risk of complication, especially in the aesthetic zone. The peri-implant tissues undergo a resorption pattern that may see exposure of parts supporting the restoration, otherwise intended to be submerged, with extreme aesthetic compromise or even complete failure of treatment. The literature is not definitive in terms of any one treatment modality to recover such a complication. Grafting the exposure by a guided bone regeneration technique and an adjunct soft tissue augmentation could well restore an unaesthetic recession exposure. Recovery of midfacial recession by soft tissue augmentation alone may be successful, as is presented hereafter.
