In this 4th of a series of clinical video demonstrations of techniques discussed in previous didactic lectures (Part 1 & 2), Dr. Ed McLaren, director of the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry, continues the very clinically applicable demonstration of advanced and step-by-step shade taking techniques on a patient requiring a single anterior crown. Specifically, Dr. McLaren describes how he combines standard shade guides, photography and digital shade guides to customize complex ceramic patterns. In addition, a discussion of the VITA Linearguide 3D-Master Shade Guide System from Vident to separately decide on value and Chroma.
