Michel, The balloon is used once for an individual patient. If the osteotomy is clean(and the screw tap is used to clean all bone spicules in the osteotmy)than there is no balloon rapture. The balloon is manufactured in Israel and is sold after taking a course. It will be available in the US in a couple of months.

Thank you very much for these procedures part 1 and 2. Would it be possible to get the selling name or trade mark for the Balloon device as mentioned below? You mentioned the advantages of the balloon technique but how often the balloon is used (I would assume once only)? What is the chance that the balloon break when inflating it and what happen when it does to the sinus membrane?

THE USE OF ONLY PRF IN THE SINUS WITHOUT ANY GRAFTING MATERIAL SEEMS TO BE AN ENORMOUS BREAKTHROUGH. WONDERING IF IT WILL SPEED UP THE FORMATION OF NEW BONE AS OPPOSED TO TRADITIONAL GRAFT MATERIALS.AS USUAL A WONDERFUL AND INFORMATIVE PRESENTATION Dr Mazor.
