Dr. Christian Coachman is currently the head of Team Atlanta Dental Laboratory located in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his certification in Dental Technology from the Rocha Marmo School in Sáo Paulo, Brasil and graduated from the University of Sáo Paulo with a degree in Dental Science. During this time he was also involved in a Dental Ceramic Specialization Program instructed by Dr. Dario Adolfi at the Ceramoart training center located in Sáo Paulo.

While going to dental school, Dr. Coachman worked for his father as a dental technician at the Keyes-Coachman Institute Lab in Sáo Paulo in 1994. He so enjoyed his work there that he decided to attend dental technology school, as well, to further develop his dental laboratory skills. After graduating from both schools, he continued his work with his father until opening his own laboratory in 1996, the Coachman & Oliveira Lab.

Dr. Coachman is founder of ABRALAP, Brazilian Association of Dental Laboratories, and was advisor from 2000 to 2001. He was professor of Ceramoart, Ceramic Training Center in 2001. He worked as a technical consultant of Creation, Willi Geller Ceramics at Oraltech from 2001 to 2004. He is founder and has been professor of the Insight Group, Ceramic Training Center since 2003. He is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is accredited with teachings in several subjects including dental morphology, metal-ceramics, ceramic laminates, ceramic characterization, prosthetic planning, and the Procera System for Nobel Biocare in Brazil.

In 2004, Dr. Coachman was invited by Dr. Ronald Goldstein, Dr. David Garber, and Dr. Maurice Salama, of Team Atlanta, to become head of their laboratory which in 2005 became known as Team Atlanta Dental Laboratory.
