Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry:
Material Selection & Technique
This text uniquely presents the practical application of different restorative systems. It essentially is structured into two major parts. The first consists of the necessary Biomaterials information needed to understand the various clinical concepts covered in this publication. The second component consists of high quality photographs detailing the numerous clinical procedures associated with a wide range of aesthetic restorative materials and surgical procedures. The purpose of this textbook was to evaluate the torrent of information streaming from the basic and clinical sciences and integrate these concepts with operative dentistry.
Since only the leading information and technologies continue to guide and regulate our teaching and the practice of dentistry, the authors and editorial board of this textbook have accumulated extensive knowledge and clinical experience pertaining to these concepts and integrated them into the clinical practice of dentistry.
Since the ultimate goal of material research and development is to enhance the practice of dentistry, we believe you will find these innovative concepts and ideas to add an important component to the practice of operative and restorative dentistry.

Chapter Review by the Author
“Douglas Terry, Karl Leinfelder, and Willi Geller…have done a masterful task in putting together a diverse and beautifully illustrated book on the esthetic procedures every dentist has found to be in high patient demand. The book is a virtual encyclopedic treatise of esthetic dentistry… Knowing pictures say far more than words lends credibility to this book, in which the photography is exquisite. Just looking at the photos provides a major education.”
