Dr. Ernesto A. Lee is the Director of the Postdoctoral Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics Program, at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, Dr. Lee is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania and a Visiting Professor at the Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry Program at New York University College of Dentistry. He is also the former Director of the Implantology Center at Temple University School of Dentistry. Dr. Lee is a native of Panama, where he graduated at the top of his dental school class. He subsequently earned dual degrees in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis/Fixed Prosthodontics, from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lee’s practice is located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania; a suburb of Philadelphia, and is limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry, with an emphasis on Esthetics.

Dr. Lee counts with nearly 20 publications to his credit, which have appeared in the Journal of Practical Procedures & Aesthetic Dentistry (PP&AD), The Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, The Journal of Contemporary Esthetics, and Collaborative Techniques. His areas of expertise include aesthetic and interdisciplinary therapy, dento-gingival and implant-soft tissue esthetics, as well as fixed prosthodontic and impression techniques. Dr. Lee has also collaborated on the textbooks Implant Surgery and Prosthesis: A New Perspective; and A New Approach to Bone Regeneration: Plasma-Rich in Growth Factors. In addition, Dr. Lee has recently authored the chapter on pre-prosthetic soft tissue management and impression techniques for the soon to be released textbook Essentials of Fixed Prosthodontics by Drs. Dennis Tarnow and Stephen Chu.

Dr. Lee serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Practical Procedures & Aesthetic Dentistry (PP&AD), The Compendium of Continuing Education in Dentistry, Collaborative Techniques, the European edition of Dental Dialogue, and is also a member of the Advisory Board for Continuing Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lee has lectured before the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. His active schedule includes frequent appearances throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America.
