Yet, most clinicians still assert that the results are not predictable and not as good as seen with the buccal appliance. The reasons are multifactorial, but are mainly attributed to ignorance and the lack of knowledge of the biomechanics limitations of the orthodontic appliances and the importance of treatment planning.
