Summary:
The purpose of this study is to report short-term clinical outcome of a new minimally invasive prosthetic approach utilizing monolithic lithium-disilicate full crowns bonded to feather-edge tooth preparations. This procedure can be considered a further option for the conservative restorative treatment of single elements where a full crown is required.

CAD/CAM Solutions for Minimally Invasive All-Ceramic Rehabilitation of Extended Erosive Lesions
Dental erosion is a global health problem that can lead to significant functional and esthetic impairments of the affected patients. Treatment of sever cases with augmented loss of the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) represents a challenge for both the dental team and the patient. CAD/CAM technology was used in the presented case to analyze the inter-occlusal space. The case report documents a practical, digital approach and discusses the advantages related to treatment time, ease of treatment, and predictability.

“The Full Arch Patient”; A Fully Digital Affair
Guided Surgery (GS) is a concept where you are guided by the rehabilitation needs of your patient to perform the implant surgery procedure based on all the info that we process via planning software that are loaded with digital files coming from intra-oral scanning (IOS) and cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). After planning the case, we print a surgical guide or stent to perform the surgery, this technique allows us to do it flap or flapless in a complete secure environment, quicker and more precise if we compare to "freehand" surgery. However, we have to be careful because not all the systems are the same; those who use scoops as reductors are less precise than the "scoopless", no matter which system we use we have to be clear to understand that all the classic concepts of osseointegration are not erased by guided surgery, especially bone physiology.
