Course Overview
During this course the various arch length problems that a Clinician might encounter will be examined. Treatment planning options to resolve these challenges will be discussed in-depth. How molar rotation affects arch length will also be explained. The utility arch will be described, as well as how and when to use this appliance. The last portion of the course will cover case examples of how arch length discrepancies can be resolved.
Course Objectives
1. Identify arch length discrepancies and prepare a treatment plan to resolve these issues.
2. Recognize the many benefits of using a utility arch appliance during treatment.
3. Identify which cases to treat when starting to incorporate Orthodontics into the practice.
