Course Overview
This course provides participants with introductory concepts, terminology, and clinical knowledge necessary to begin incorporating clear Aligner treatments (CAT) into the practice. Emphasis will be placed on appropriate case selection in order to achieve consistent clinical results. Participants will learn the biologic and mechanical basis for tooth movement with clear Aligners. This course will review the details of specific tooth movement techniques, such as extrusion, intrusion, rotation, tip and torque, and which of these movements are most efficient with clear Aligners.
Course Objectives
1. To determine which type of malocclusions are best treated with clear Aligners.
2. Identify Andrews 6 keys to occlusion.
3. To select the appropriate initial clear Aligner cases to treat.
