Course Overview
This course provides participants with introductory concepts, terminology, and clinical knowledge necessary to begin incorporating clear Aligner treatments into the practice. Several clear Aligner cases (appropriate for the beginner Doctors to treat) will be evaluated and the treatment plans will be reviewed. This course will review the importance of Inter Proximal Reduction (IPR), as well as when and how this procedure should be incorporated. The engineering behind clear Aligner attachments will be discussed, as well as how this force relates to tooth movement.
Course Objectives
1. Set-up clinical preferences related to clear Aligner treatment.
2. Recognize the direction of force that clear Aligner attachments exert on each tooth.
3. Perform Inter Proximal Reduction (IPR) when needed in clear Aligner cases.
4. Use the final clear Aligner as a Finishing Appliance.
