Course Overview

Class II correction represents one of the most frequent scenarios in which treatment with clear Aligners can become challenging related to both number of trays needed and patient compliance. This course will introduce multiple options to correct Class II malocclusions and investigate the benefits and challenges of each choice.

The advantages of correcting the Anterior/Posterior (AP) at the beginning of treatment will be explored and the Motion Appliance will be reviewed.

Course Objectives

1. Describe the benefits of up-righting and de-rotating molars when treating a Class II malocclusion case.

2. Identify multiple clinical options to select from, when presented with a Class II malocclusion case.

3. Explain the benefits of correcting the AP prior to starting clear Aligner treatment in Class II patients.
