Course Overview
This course will discuss both dental and skeletal Orthodontic open bite cases. Various treatment options will be presented along with camouflaging techniques. Diagnosing open bite etiologies and how to overcome these conditions will be explained. Effective methods of using reverse curve wires and heavy elastics when treating open bite cases will be described. The benefits of selecting clear aligners when treating open bites cases will also be detailed.

1. Distinguish between a dental and skeletal open bite.
2. Select the appropriate treatment option depending on the type of open bite case presented.
3. Use reverse curve wires and heavy elastics effectively when treating open bite cases.
