Course Overview
During this course the USDI Patient Evaluation Form will be reviewed and the importance of being able to successfully resolve the Patient’s chief complaint will be discussed. How to select the appropriate beginning cases to treat, related to expansion goals, will be explained. The amount of expansion needed and how to achieve expansion in the non-growing patients will be presented. This course will emphasize the importance of long-term retention when Orthodontic treatment included expansion.
Course Objectives
1. Complete the USDI Patient Evaluation Form completely.
2. Identify the different types of Orthodontic arches.
3. Determine when and how to expand dentally in a non-growing patients.
