The selection of restorative materials remains one of the most critical, and challenging aspects of restorative dentistry. With the ever-expanding range of ceramics, composites, and hybrid materials, clinicians often struggle to apply universal guidelines that fit every clinical situation. The 3D Concept introduces a structured and visual framework that integrates Restorative Materials, Clinical Conditions, and Patient Expectation, providing clinicians with a systematic pathway for restorative material selection. This approach combines current scientific evidence, clinical judgment, and patient-centered considerations into a decision-making tree that simplifies complexity, enhances predictability, and adapts to the unique needs of each patient.
Course Objectives
1. Analyze the 3D concept (Dental Structure, Demand, and Discrepancy) for material selection in restorative dentistry
