Sedation Fellowship - Reversal

Course Overview
The ability to rescue a patient from a sedation medication overdose is one of the hallmarks of sedation safety (the other ones being patient selection and patient monitoring). The core values of DOCS Education being Safety and Efficacy requires that the sedation practitioner be able to rescue a patient from deeper levels of central nervous depression than intended.
Course Objectives
1. Learn various reversal agents and their characteristics
2. Discuss applications and methodologies for each agent
3. Analyze the pharmacologic process of each agent
4. Recognize cautions, side effects and contraindications
