Course Overview
This course explores the management of esthetic and biological complications associated with implant-supported restorations in the anterior zone. The presentation emphasizes a comprehensive approach based on the "triad of success," encompassing precise implant placement, esthetic tissue reconstruction, and meticulous prosthetic management. Participants will learn a systematic decision-making process, considering factors such as peri-implant health, implant positioning, and platform integrity. The modified envelope technique, a minimally invasive soft tissue grafting procedure, will be highlighted as a key tool for optimizing esthetic outcomes. Through case presentations and interactive discussions, participants will develop the skills to diagnose, treat, and prevent complications, ultimately enhancing the long-term success and patient satisfaction with implant therapy in the esthetic zone.
Course Objectives
1. Describe the "triad of success" and its importance in achieving long-term stability of implant-supported restorations.
2. Utilize a decision-making framework for managing esthetic and biological complications in the anterior zone.
3. Learn the alternatives of soft tissue augmentation around implants to prevent and treat esthetic/biological complications.
4. Critically evaluate case presentations and formulate appropriate treatment plans for various implant complications.
