Dr./Dent. Tech. Anabell Bologna is a restorative dentist who graduated from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in 1996. She has more than twenty-five years of clinical experience in private practice alongside Dr. Rafael Laplana, focusing on restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry. In 1998, she completed a Fellowship in Dental Technology at the University of Texas, Houston, and in 2016 earned a Diploma in Dental Technology from the CENATEDE Center, located in Caracas, Venezuela.

Throughout her career, she has trained as a Ceramist under renowned international masters such as Gerald Ubassy, Oliver Brix, August Bruguera, Nondas Vlachopoulos, and Edward McLaren, developing an integrative approach that combines technical precision with artistic sensitivity. She currently serves as Director of the Restorative Dentistry Unit Laplana–Bologna Advanced Dental Aesthetics Laboratory, an institution specializing in esthetic oral rehabilitation, implant-supported restorations, metal-free ceramics, and digital dental technology.

In the academic field, Dr./Dent. Tech. Bologna is a professor in the Dental Technician Certification Program at the Central University of Venezuela, actively contributing to the education and professional development of future dental technicians. She has also served as a Board Member of the Venezuelan Society of Prosthetic Dentistry, promoting scientific advancement and professional excellence in her specialty. Her commitment to continuing education and excellence has led her to participate as an international lecturer and to conduct theoretical-practical and hands-on courses focused on dental ceramics, esthetic restorations, and advanced oral rehabilitation.

She is also co-author of several scientific publications with Dr. Rafael Laplana, centered on restorative and esthetic dentistry. Parallel to her professional career, Dr./Dent. Tech. Bologna has cultivated a lifelong passion for the arts.

From an early age, she pursued studies in piano, theory, solfège, harmony, composition, and music history at the José Ángel Lamas Conservatory of Music in Caracas, as well as painting for over a decade. These artistic disciplines have enhanced her visual sensitivity and refined sense of detail, qualities that are reflected in her clinical and technical work.
