Dr. Taché received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from St. Anselm’s College in 1970 with a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry. He went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and earned his DMD in 1974. In 1975, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital/University of Texas General Practice Residency in Houston, Texas. Following completion of his GPR, he established a Private Practice with an emphasis on Orofacial Pain and TMD. Dr. Taché also continued at the University of Texas, Health Science Center as a lecturer and assistant clinical professor on the subject of Orofacial Pain and TM Disorders.
Dr. Taché satisfied the requirements of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2004 and was awarded Diplomate status.
In 2007, Dr. Taché was accepted into the Dental Distance Education Masters Program which will begin in September of 2008. This is a Masters Degree program with an emphasis in Oral Biology. Dr. Taché intends to explore the relationship between orofacial pain/TMD and sleep disorders.
In 1999, Dr. Taché moved to Appleton, Wisconsin to develop an Orofacial Pain/TMD department for Dental Associates, Ltd, and staffed both the Appleton and Green Bay Clinics until 2003, when he returned to private practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Currently, Dr. Taché is a partner with University Dental, LLC, a multi-specialty, multi-doctor clinic situated in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As the clinical director of Orofacial Pain Associates of NEW, he devotes most of his time to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Orofacial Pain/TM Disorders and Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Taché lectures frequently throughout North America on the subject of Dental Sleep Medicine.
