Dr. Manuel de la Rosa-G received his specialty certificate and Master Degree in both Periodontics and Implantology from the University of Texas in Houston, where he later received his Fellowship in Implant Dentistry.

He is former director of Periodontics and Implantology at the Periodontics Graduate program in Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, where he taught as Clinical Assistant Professor in the department of Periodontics for over 11 years. He is also a former professor of Implantology at the University of Monterrey.

Dr. De la Rosa is currently in private practice in Monterrey, Mexico, limited to Periodontics and Implantology. He is member of the American Academy of Periodontology, and part of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Periodontology. Lecturer nationally and internationally.

Dr. De la Rosa is an active member of the Dental XP continuing education group. He has participated collaborating with Dr Maurice Salama in several of his courses as an affiliate professor for him. He is in charge of the Dental XP Club Mexico. Dr De la Rosa serves as well as Clinical advisor for Ritter Dental Implants. He is also Director of the chapter Mexico of POSEIDO (Periodontology, Oral Surgery, Esthetics & Implant Dentistry organization).

Dr. De la Rosa has launched the Continuing Education platform "DrMdelaRosa"
from which he lectures on Periodontics and Implantology and has fused this platform to DentalXP Club Mexico. He has written numerous articles and research papers of prestigious journals internationally.

Dr. De La Rosa speaks and writes fluent Spanish and English.

Married to Ivett, has 3 children: Dania, David and Iker. Dr. De la Rosa enjoys bike riding, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
