Dr. Peleg is a Professor of Surgery, Assistant Chair of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery , University of Miami, School of Medicine. He is also the past Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program director .In 1990 he completed a fellowship in craniofacial traumatology and reconstruction, Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Bern, Inselspital, Switzerland, and between 1991-1993 a fellowship in tumor and reconstructive surgery, Department of surgery, Division of Oral and maxillofacial Surgery, University of Miami, School of Medicine, U.S.A. His researches and publications in the international journals includes: Bone reconstruction, BMP, Sinus floor augmentation, and development of new techniques for Nerve repositioning and bone grafting. Dr. Peleg is an active lecturer and moderator in national and international meeting and in advanced courses in the field of reconstruction and dental implants surgery.
