Dr. Robert Korman has maintained an esthetically-focused restorative practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia for over 25 years. He is a clinician, educator and published author.
In 1995, Dr. Korman earned both his Fellowship (FAGD) and Mastership (MAGD) through the Academy of General Dentistry. In 1993, he completed a residency program at the University of Florida to complete training in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction and Myofacial pain. In 1982, he completed a dental residency program at the Veterens Administration Medical Center and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. In 1982, he received his doctor of dental surgery degree from Howard University and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in 1978.
Dr. Korman is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Seattle Study dental group. In February 2016, he recently presented the E-pontic design and technique to the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry that was published in the January 2015 JERD journal.
