In this presentation, Prof. Giovanni Zucchelli develops a critical comparison between the different CTG harvesting techniques, and shows the correct management of this kind of graft as well as its use in coronally advanced flap surgical technique for the treatment of gingival recessions.
This lecture will cover and discuss:
- understand the reasons why one connective tissue graft harvesting technique is to be preferred over other options
- define the ideal connective tissue donor site in the palate
- analyze the composition of freshly harvested connective tissue graft and how to improve its clinical features
- identify connective tissue graft management best practices
- describe the correct management of coronally advanced flap surgical technique
- observe the connection between coronally advanced flap surgical technique and de-epithelialized
- connective tissue graft application for the treatment of gingival recessions
