Do you temp cement your APT?

MOHAMMAD FARHAN - (10/14/2015 4:44 PM)

Great information Dr. Galip, many thanks.

Ronald Goldstein - (3/15/2015 5:27 PM)

Faina, I fully agree with Dr. Salama that eliminating the mock up can be a huge mistake...especially because patients really need to be in the 'approval' stage right from the start...and not wait until the temporary stage. You always want your patient's approval before you prepare teeth. I have had patients who were so 'picky' that I found it best not to take the case and only found out when we did a trial smile.

excellent lecture.i am interested in your courses please let me know the dates .I am from india

Maurice Salama - (9/16/2014 8:59 AM)

Faina; Do not skip the Mock-up Phase. It is Critical for minimizing tooth prepatation not ONLY for use as a Trial Smile for patient acceptance. We ultimately utilize this Mock up as a GUIDE for minimal tooth preparation and keeping us in enamel. Dr. Salama

Mohammad Khandaqji - (4/15/2014 2:36 AM)

Thank you .

Arezou Alaghband - (4/3/2014 5:07 AM)

Thank you

Faina Seagal - (2/5/2014 11:03 PM)

Thanks, Dr.Gurel, excellent lecture. My questions is if it possible to skip the first mock up stage, because the lab is making wax up, you do temporaries, and the patient can see the possible outcome from temporaries?

jacques claire - (12/27/2013 6:45 AM)

Great lecture . Thanks .

A Restorative Solution to Correcting a Geminated Central Incisor
A geminated tooth occurs when a single tooth bud tries to divide into two teeth, but the division is incomplete.  This results in a much larger tooth so when it occurs in a central incisor it can become a difficult esthetic problem. This program illustrates a restorative compromise solution to the problem.

The Proof is in the Laboratory; A Maxillary Full Arch Implant Supported Zirconia Prettau Comparison
The FP-3 “Implant Supported Hybrid" has proven to be an exceptional and highly specialized treatment option for patients with non restorable teeth or existing edentulism. The use of zirconia provides the ultimate outcome bringing with it a new standard of esthetics, function and, when done well, a long lasting prosthesis. This presentation will stress the importance of treatment planning, CAD CAM technology, and the all important need for the laboratory technician’s human touch. Surgical aspects, provisonalization during healing, and management of soft tissue are important components. The protocol for final fabrication of the FP-3 all zirconia prosthesis is detailed along with a description of this exciting new technology.

Few professions have worked as hard as dentistry to convince the public of the value of its services and especially to make these services as attractive as possible. Of no minor importance is the realization that patients want and appreciate dentistry's efforts to make dental visits more pleasant. Efforts to communicate advancement in dentistry is seen in written advertisements, as well as television coverage of just how painless and high-tech a visit to the dentist has become. Aesthetic Excellence Through Outcome-Based Treatment Rationale
The conceptual basis of restorative-driven implant dentistry is well established among clinicians. Its implementation includes the development of a prosthetic blueprint that will serve as a guide throughout therapy. While these concepts may be applied to prosthetic dentistry in general, their benefits are most compelling in the treatment of the aesthetic zone. This article demonstrates a systematic multidimensional approach for the establishment and incorporation of definitive aesthetic objectives throughout…
