All-On Four-テクニックと現実
Description:
In this presentation, Dr. Duello will focus on the specific clinical technique of the All On Four procedure. The webinar will introduce the indications, clinical exams, and pre-surgical preparations for All On Four. Next the actual surgical procedures will be highlighted using either analog/manual or computer aided guided surgery.
Following the surgical placement of the implant, the viewer will be taken into the prosthetic rehabilitation of the patient with immediate loading of the all acrylic conversion prosthesis or laboratory fabricated immediate prosthesis. In the final segment, the construction of the final fixed hybrid screw retained prosthesis will be presented by Dr. George Duello.

Hello. Great presentation! As far as the conversion is concerned, can you give any insight as to how you orient the denture in the mouth at the time of conversion and maintain the established VDO, occlusion, etc. in cases where significant ridge reduction was completed. I can imagine it becomes easy to loose you orientation because the denture may not have a stable positive seating in the mouth. Thank you!

Henry,
Thanks for the complement. Your programs are equally good especially on the topic of immediate loading.

George,
1/25 11:49 comment very well stated? We should all print and save and reread from time to time. Maybe add, ....poor oral hygiene AND POOR innate natural defense mechanisms. Also ... Overloaded or under -engineered prostheses and support structures.
Good work and Best wishes,
Paul Kozy

Minimally Invasive Tooth Replacement Strategies in the Esthetic Zone: The Evolution of New Age Concepts
Modern Tooth Replacement Strategies are more concerned about esthetics than ever before especially in light of recent research that clearly defines the risk of resorption, ridge constriction, tissue recession and color changes that often occur following extraction and implant replacement. This presentation will describe the Dual Zone concepts recently published to address these issues as well partial extraction therapies which may play an expanding and more critical role in the future.

TMD, Parafunction and Occlusion for Natural Teeth and Implants: Diagnosis and Management
This presentation will address the basic science related to mechanics of the head and neck and the interrelationship with everyday clinical dentistry directly related to occlusion involving implants and the natural dentition. Alternative strategies for the management of parafunction and TMJ related issues will also be outlined.

Prosthetic Soft Tissue Development From Single to Full Arch Reconstruction
In addition to surgical intervention is the creation of the specific emergence profile that is essential in the aesthetic zone. The emergence profile composed of 2 parts, the abutment and the subgingival part of the crown. The shape of abutment can be individually shaped so that it gives natural appearance and varies individually (depending on the depth, angulation and diameter of the implant). Sometimes it even dictates the implant position. From a surgical perspective, soft tissue height, position and thickness need to be diagnosed and corrected when needed. From the prosthetic point of view, the emergence profile has to be created to mimic the natural appearance and maintained over time in respect to the biological changes. The course teaches step by step how to be successful with implant prosthetics from single tooth, partially edentulous to full arch reconstruction.

Conservative Treament of the Edentulous Mandible
This presentation includes a candid discussion of the oral health care needs of the approximately 40 million edentulous adults in the USA. Many of these patients cannot afford or are too debilitated to have extensive oral care. There are several extensive and very expensive treatments for these patients that are currently being heavily promoted by companies and the lay press.

Ceramic Dental Implants in Everyday Practice
One-piece Zirconia Oxide implants can overcome the problems we associate with two-piece and one-piece titanium root form implants. It will be shown how this treatment option is no longer “experimental” and that the Zirconia Oxide material used in the CeraRoot implants shows excellent ability to osseointegrate, is phenomenally strong, and provides a soft tissue profile and health around the implants that rivals natural teeth. This presentation will make you rethink your titanium armamentarium. You will see a way to provide your patients with an ideal tooth replacement option. An implant that looks like a tooth, restores like a tooth, and has the periodontal health that rivals that of a tooth without the fear of screw loosening, metal showing, and Peri-implantitis caused by subgingival connections.

Smoking and Complications of Endosseous Dental Implants
Titanium endosseous implants have been increasingly used in various edentulous situations for well over a decade. Cigarette smoking has long been suspected as adversely affecting wound healing. Arteriolar vasoconstriction and decreased blood flow are seen in response to smoking. In the oral cavity,an increase in plaque accumulation,a higher incidence of gin-givitis and periodontitis,a higher rate of tooth loss, and an increased resorption of the alveolar ridge have been found among smokers.

The “Scalloped Guide”: A Proof-of-Concept Technique for a Digitally Streamlined, Pink-Free Full-Arch Implant Protocol
Inadequate restorative space can result in mechanical, biologic, and esthetic
complications with full-arch fixed implant-supported prosthetics. As such,
clinicians often reduce bone to create clearance. The aim of this paper was
to present a protocol using stacking computer-aided design/computerassisted
manufacturing (CAD/CAM) guides to minimize and accurately
obtain the desired bone reduction, immediately place prosthetically guided
implants, and load a provisional that replicates predetermined tissue contour.
This protocol can help clinicians minimize bone reduction and place the
implants in an ideal position that allows them to emerge from the soft tissue
interface with a natural, pink-free zirconia fixed dental prostheses.
