Daniyal; Older interview from 2008! Ariel has not updated his opinion or research here but we believe things are much improved and continue to work with a digital workflow that includes zirconium. We continue to observe some issues from time to time with delamination and fracture of overlaying porcelain so the jury is still out. Regards Dr. Salama

Thank you for presentation. Dr. Maurice i would like to know how old is this interview. Sims to me this is an old presentation. I have been doing zirconia based C&B restoration( CERCON Cad/Cam Degudent system) from 2008 till 2011 mainly to restore premolars and molars. There was only one fracture of zircon core in case of single crown, tooth 14 (UR premolar). From 2012 till know in my hospital we use only LAVA system. Again, we have no problem with fracture of zircon framework, but there was in two cases chipping of porcelain in three unit zirconia based bridge from 15 to 17 and single crown 37. Year back i restore four implant single crowns i area of 25,26, 36 and 47, till know patients did not report any problem.
