This webinar will discuss options for Cad/Cam fabrication of ceramic restorations for teeth and implants. The technologies available today can give the same aesthetic restorations with half the time, and half the visits. The software capabilities are available for all types of restorations. All the different types of scanners will be discussed and how they are used in a prosthetic private practice. Various CAD - ceramic materials allow the clinician to get high translucency, high flexural strength and excellent marginal integrity.

Nice presentation.Do wider margin designs starting from implant-abutment junction result more recession and bone resorption around implants? As we know that firstly concavity is needed where the implant-abutment junction starts than later wider margin design is applicable. Right?

A New Implant Design for Crestal Bone Preservation: Initial Observations and Case Report
Following the exposure and restoration of two-piece dental implants, some change in the vertical level of the peri-implant crestal bone height has been reported. This change in crestal bone height has not, however, negatively impacted long-term implant success. This article describes how the concept of platform switching is incorporated into a new implant design as a means of reducing or eliminating the occurrence of crestal bone loss. Preliminary observations from clinicians utilizing this new implant design are herein presented.
