Predictability of Root Coverage Procedures: Clinical Scenarios & Evidence-Based Treatment Options
Root coverage (RC) procedures have long been used for the treatment of gingival recession (GR). During daily practice, clinicians are required to deal with diverse clinical scenarios and to provide the most adequate treatment options for each particular condition based on the best evidence available, the clinician’s skills, and the patients’ desires.

PETology and Complete Ridge Maintenance
For a long time it has been discussed about different ways to avoid dimensional changes at post extraction sockets. Through the philosophy of the Partial Extraction Therapies we will be able analyze and plan our cases in a different and unique way not only in the esthetic zone also in partial and full arch cases in a predictable and reproducible way.

Advanced Immediate Implant Placement Strategies Including the Socket Shield (SS) Technique and its Complications
Immediate implant placement in the aesthetic zone has become a controversial topic with regards to the long term aesthetic demands that both the profession and our patients have placed on this treatment modality. Since the controversy broke a few years ago there have been a number of outstanding developments that have revolutionized the way we do immediate implant placement. Soft tissue augmentations using the tunnel technique as well as the socket whiled technique are 2 of these techniques which form the baseline of treatment in our clinic. This lecture will go through all the updated protocols of immediate implant placement supported by the literature as well as deal specifically with the finer details of the socket whiled technique including step by step photos and video of the technique. More importantly it will cover numerous complications that we have had to deal with over the last few years that we have been doing this technique.

The Root Submergence Technique at Single Tooth Sites to Short-Span Edentulous Sites: A Step-By-Step Partial Extraction Therapy Protocol
Submerging roots for ridge preservation was the earliest partial extraction therapy and has been described since the 1970s. Despite the approximately 47 animal and human studies published since, an updated and contemporary step-by-step protocol has not yet been provided. This technique report describes in detail how to manage submerged roots at single tooth sites and at short-span edentulous areas.
