Absolutely wonderful! His hands on course played a significant role in shaping the way I treat removable patients. Glad to see he finally made it to DentalXP!

PLEASE POST PART 2 of this lecture...

Daryl Hill - (8/23/2014 8:22 AM)

I have spent time with Dr. Turbyfill, and I totally agree with Dr. Goldstein in that Jack’s course is the best. Dr. Turbyfill’s technique allowed me to help denture patients who had lost hope with every feeling comfortable again in a predictable, much less frustrating and time consuming process. I can’t wait to hear the 2nd part and share with my team. Jack great to see you again, and way to go on not a single cuss word.

Ronald Goldstein - (8/21/2014 4:41 PM)

I always enjoy listening to Dr. Turbyfill...If you can try to get his hands on course...still the best!

Michele Williams - (8/21/2014 12:59 PM)

Great to refresh my memory on his techniques

John Heimke - (8/21/2014 10:51 AM)

Always great to learn from Dr. Turbyfill. You can use his teaching not only in Dentures but in Smile Aesthetics. Must view. Best.

Cliff Kushner - (8/20/2014 5:02 PM)

Introduction too lengthy and too much reminiscing. Content too theoretical. Monotone voice. Very disappointing .

Joseph Ibidapo - (8/20/2014 3:24 PM)

As a matter of fact this video is very timely, God bless the team that made it a reality. However, can considerations be given to members who wish to have great clips like this for keep (download)?

GBR with Individualized Titanium Meshes
According to several authors, Guided bone regeneration is a procedure needed in half of the dental rehabilitations with dental implants. Due to this reality, digital dentistry become an important tool allowing us to be more precise and less invasive. By printing customized titanium meshes based on the patients bone defects, we can now predict the exact volume needed to be regenerate and create a specific device that will help to maintain the space. This takes CAD CAM dentistry to the next level, allowing more predictability in every step of the way, from bone regeneration till prosthetic rehabilitation. techniques more predictable. The authors describe a new guided bone regeneration protocol based on the use of digital planning and fabrication of printed 3D titanium meshes, rigid devices that protect mechanically the scaffold, design over the patient CT scan.

Pure Dental Esthetics – From Titanium to Zirconia Premium Member Content

Pure Dental Esthetics – From Titanium to Zirconia
The replacement of a single tooth with dental implants, especially when the patient has a high smile line, has been an esthetic challenge in implant dentistry. Typically, it requires very careful stages to create the final restoration as natural as possible. When there is loss of soft tissues, carefully made dental-gingival prosthesis becomes an alternative of therapy. For all cases with high smile line, achieving perfection in color and texture of the restoration it's not an easy task. Currently there are some ways to achieve better aesthetic results, including digital scanning of colors. This presentation describes step-by-step the application of a protocol developed in our clinic. Several cases will be discussed. In addition, recent technologies such as zirconium implants are also be discussed.

Advanced Immediate Implant Placement Strategies Including the Socket Shield (SS) Technique and its Complications
Immediate implant placement in the aesthetic zone has become a controversial topic with regards to the long term aesthetic demands that both the profession and our patients have placed on this treatment modality. Since the controversy broke a few years ago there have been a number of outstanding developments that have revolutionized the way we do immediate implant placement. Soft tissue augmentations using the tunnel technique as well as the socket whiled technique are 2 of these techniques which form the baseline of treatment in our clinic. This lecture will go through all the updated protocols of immediate implant placement supported by the literature as well as deal specifically with the finer details of the socket whiled technique including step by step photos and video of the technique. More importantly it will cover numerous complications that we have had to deal with over the last few years that we have been doing this technique.

CT-Derived Model-Based Surgery for Immediate Loading of Maxillary Anterior Implants
A novel approach to predict implant placement utilizing CT-derived model-based surgery was performed for a maxillary-anterior aesthetic immediate extraction/immediate restoration; root proximity and inter-implant positioning was an additional complication. The use of state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatmentplanning tools described in this article has been shown to be effective for both partial and completely edentulous patient presentations. These tools can serve as a foundation for accurate, highly practical, and repeatable CT-scan–derived modelbased presurgical prosthetic planning for the immediate loading of dental implants.

Maintenance of Alveolar Ridge Dimensions Utilizing an Extracted Tooth Dentin Particulate Autograft and Platelet-Rich Fibrin: A Retrospective Radiographic Cone-Beam Computed Tomography Study
This study utilized radiographic comparative analysis in order to evaluate dimensional ridge changes four months after tooth extraction and immediate grafting with mineralized dentin particulate autograft and chopped platelet-rich fibrin. Fifty-eight extraction sockets with up to 2mm of missing buccal bone in the coronal aspect compared to the lingual bone were included. Graft material was covered with either a platelet-rich fibrin membrane or collagen sponge with no effort to achieve primary closure.

Aesthetic Enhancement of Anterior Dental Implants with the Use of Tapered Osteotomes and Soft Tissue Manipulation

Aesthetic Enhancement of Anterior Dental Implants with the Use of Tapered Osteotomes and Soft Tissue Manipulation
As osseointegration of endosseous dental implants has become predictable and well-documented, the emphasis in dental- implant treatment has shifted from functional concerns to the achievement of long-term aesthetic results. An adequate alveolar bone base is the prerequisite for functional and aesthetically optimal reconstruction of the soft-tissue architecture. This is true for both fixed partial denture (FPD) pontic sites and dental implant sites. In patients with sufficient bone height but insufficient bone…
