The Interdisciplinary Software Platform. The Key For Modern Digital Dentistry
The starting point of a facially driven interdisciplinary dental treatment plan is "The Smile Frame". A few crucial photos and steps will come together to create the ultimate template you need to communicate to your dental team, colleagues, and the patient to ultimately increase case acceptance and create the most aesthetic and functional method of rehabilitation to your patient. We will discuss how this paradigm shift of regular analog dentistry has shifted to this modern digital world and the benefits it provides. The protocol proposed will improve the diagnosis, communication and predictability of esthetic rehabilitation, from simple implant or restorative cases to complex cases, combining perio, ortho, and othognathic surgery. Emphasis will be given to the utilization of digital tools to enhance and facilitate the Dentist/Technician interaction and communication with the patient.

The Magnetic Mallet and It’s Use in Daily Practice - Clinical Perspective
This innovative machine called the Magnetic Mallet is a device based on a EU/US patent of invention in oral surgery. It uses magnetism to generate a very impressive acceleration of the osteotomes that maximizes the forces applied to the bone (making the procedure fast and efficient) and in the meantime minimizes the inertia and discomfort for the patient. Such speed doesn’t cause any bone heating therefore irrigation water is also not needed!

Expanding on Transverse Diagnosis and Maxillary Expansion Premium Member Content

Expanding on Transverse Diagnosis and Maxillary Expansion
Transverse dimension diagnosis and treatment is the base for sagital and vertical corrections. Most precise diagnosis on maxillary transverse deficiency is obtained through the CBCT. Miniscrew assisted rapid maxillary expansion (Marpe) or Surgical assisted maxillary expansion are the procedures of choice in skeletal mature patients presenting maxillary transverse deficiencies. Protocols with most common type of expander will be ilustrated through clinical cases. Long term periodontal health and airways are addressed as part of this lecture.

Copy-paste concept: Full digital approach in the management of gingival emergence profiles

Copy-paste concept: Full digital approach in the management of gingival emergence profiles
Obtaining a perfect integration of a prosthetic rehabilitation on natural teeth and implants in the esthetic zone requires a deep knowledge of the biological processes and a clear understanding of the characteristics of the restorative materials. Once the soft tissue profile has been created with the placement of a temporary prosthesis, the ability to accurately transfer information about the tissue profile and the contour of the restoration for the fabrication of the definitive crowns can be challenging.

Applied Techniques for Predictable Suture Placement Part 1

Applied Techniques for Predictable Suture Placement Part 1
Surgical suture positioning is crucial to ensure adequate healing and can be accomplished using a variety of suturing methods. Sutures should generally be placed distal to the last tooth and within each interproximal space and should always be inserted through the more mobile flap first The flaps should not be blanched during the tying procedure, and closure should not be positioned closer than 2 mm to 3 mm from the edge of the flap, in order to prevent tearing during the inevitable swelling that…
