Odontoiatria Digitale nella gestione di casi semplici e complessi: lo Scanner Intraorale

Description:
These protocols have allowed us to modify work flow and operational techniques to shorten lead times, while maintaining optimal accuracy. Advantages and disadvantages of the methods outlined will be evaluated and analyzed on the basis of existing literature and personal experience.

Non-grafting alternatives for the rehabilitation of the Atrophic Maxilla is a growing arena in our implant patient population. The Intermaxillary Surgical Protocol for Zygomatic Implants and its modification to Extramaxillary techniques has been a huge advantage in the treatment of these advanced maxillary atrophy patient cases. Anatomical and X-Ray interpretation connected with the placement of Zygomatic Implants will be reviewed in great detail. Patient selection and Treatment Planning as well as Pre-Operation Patient’s Medical Condition Assessment etc. is the foundational knowledge required for treatment of these individuals. The surgical procedure and prosthetic rehabilitation aspects as well as impressions and the laboratory work will also be further highlighted.

The advent of new technologies has enabled the utilization of new materials and equipment that facilitate the production of restorations with an accuracy that has, up to now, been difficult to obtain reliably. This lecture utilizes patient presentations to help analyze and highlight new systematic clinical protocols that have been developed to optimize the evolving knowledge in digital dentistry and materials. These protocols have allowed us to modify work flow and operational techniques to shorten lead times, while maintaining optimal accuracy. Advantages and disadvantages of the methods outlined will be evaluated and analyzed on the basis of existing literature and personal experience.

Horizontal Augmentation Through the Ridge-Split Procedure: A Predictable Surgical Modality in Implant Reconstruction
The need for an adequate alveolar ridge width has been a long-standing principle in pre-prosthetic surgery. Since the introduction of root-form endosseous dental implants, the necessity of proper alveolar ridge width has become essential. In this presentation, the author concentrated on the ridge-split procedure (RSP) as a form of a ridge modification (widening or augmentation), the technique that offers many possibilities and has many advantages in oral pre-prosthetic implant reconstruction. There are many modifications of the RSP. This presentation is a description of classical ridge-split procedure in maxilla and mandible that has been successfully employed for many years in author’s surgical practice.

Immediate loading of endosseous implants is becoming a widespread therapeutic procedure for the rehabilitation of patients with edentulous jaws. The purpose of this prospective clinical trial was to evaluate the long-term success rate of endosseous implants placed in the edentulous lower jaw and loaded on either the same day of surgery or the next day. Nineteen patients were enrolled in the study. Eleven patients, accounting for 64 implants, received their provisional prosthesis the same day of…

Immediate loading of a socket shield (partial extraction therapy) post-extraction implant with the final CAD/CAM crown The ONE protocol for one-day natural aesthetics and preventing buccal collapse
Immediate implant placement is a well-recognised and successful treatment option after tooth extraction.1,2 Success rates for both immediate and delayed implant techniques are comparable; however, the literature reports that one can expect buccal collapse of the original buccal volume and midfacial recession of at least 1mm after immediate implant placement, possibly worse in thin gingival biotypes.3
